i often hear people making excuses for themselves on why they cant do something. why they cant diet correctly, why they cant train, why they cant lose weight, and why they are not happy with where they are at. and at the end of the conversation i am still very unclear still why they cant do it. i often ask people to come to the gym with me and get a work out in. most people give me the excuse of i dont have time... i am sorry but that is not true that you dont have time. i work from 7:30 to 6 monday through friday. and i still train for 2-2 1/2 hours day and i do meal preps and live my life and i still have time at the end of the night to just sit and watch a movie or relax. so the excuse that your to busy isnt valid sorry but its not. if you watch 45 minutes of t.v a day you have time to exercise. also another common thing i get from people is "i dont have the energy to work out everyday. well that is exactly why you dont have energy! i know it sounds crazy but i have more energy now that i am on a strict schedule and program. another question i get from people sort of unrelated to excuses and not doing it. i often have guys come up to me and ask "how can i get bigger?" my simple answer is eat more food! seriously its not rocket science people. if you weight 160lbs and you want to add muscle or if you weight 225lbs and you want to gain muscle eat more food! and usually the guys who ask me this question and i tell them that they say i cant i already eat 4 meals a day and about 3000 cal. i simply say eat 5 meals a day and 4000 cal. and then bump it up to 6 meals a day and 5000 cal. if you want to get bigger and stronger you need to eat like an athlete and train like one. those same people i tell to eat more i also say to train more. again their response is "well i train hard 4 days a week". again i say train harder go to 5 or 6 days a week and really push yourself and force the muscle to grow and not give it an option. the main thing about this some what of a rant is if you want something get off your excuses and you will see results. you have to set a goal and chase it with everything you have if you dont you will be left in the same state of mind with the same results.... nothing. do nothing and achieve nothing, do your best and achieve the best!
